Procedure to Transfer your Gas from one Agency to another Agency

Transfer Of Gas  from One Agency to Another 

Hello Every One , 

I like to share the things which i have faced or have done during the transfer of the gas , So i dont want you guys do the mistake or waste your time.

Firstly , The Basic thing which you need to do when you Shift your House from one location to another location , the first most thing you need to do is transfering of your Gas Connection to that near by area / new house and make sure that you make a plan 10 days ago you shift 

Before going a head i like to let you know guys , As most of use Govt owned or controlled LPG providers .

The Commonly LPG providers are HP, INDANE , BARATH. 

As these are Govt owned Providers , if your are unware of the Document required or necessary things to do , you will face little difficulties and lot of waste of time , Especially visiting the Agency n number of time.

Note :-This is almost the same procedure for rest of the LPG providers too even  though i am telling about HP gas agency here as i have done the same thing 

There are two types of transfering the gas 

 1. Transfering the gas connection with in the same city or near by locality.

2.  Transfering the gas connection from one city to another city.

Things / Documents Required   (both type of transfers and both the stages)

1. Gas Connection Voucher

2. ID proof  ( Xerox and Original( for showing them)  )

3. Gas Regulator

4. Gas Book 

5. The Person On Who's Name the Gas is registered **** ( Mandatory) 

6. Address Proof ( Needed only in the New Gas Agency ) 

7. Cylinders 

There are Two Stages -

1. Collect the transfer Voucher from the Current Gas Agency 

2. Submit the transfer Voucher to the New Gas Agency

Collecting the transfer Voucher from the Current  Gas Agency :

     1. Firstly Collect the nearest New Gas Agency Details  or Atleast tell the place Where you need to Shift 

    

     2. Submit 

               --- for Transfer with in the City ---

                 1. Gas Connection Voucher

                 2. ID proof  ( Xerox and Original( for showing them)  )

       Note - The Person On Who's Name the Gas is registered Should be Present **** ( Mandatory) 

           

              --- for Transfer to another City or Place--- 

                 1. Gas Connection Voucher

                 2. ID proof  ( Xerox and Original( for showing them)  )

                 3. Gas Regulator 

                 4. Cylinder ( 1 or 2  according to the Cylinders your are given ) 

       Note - The Person On Who's Name the Gas is registered Should be Present **** ( Mandatory) 

     3. If requested Write the request letter in a paper or else not required depends on your Gas Agency.

     4. Agency Executive will Verify the Documents Submitted by you  and will give you 

               --- for Transfer with in the City ---

                     

                     1. Transfer Voucher  Only 

            

                 --- for Transfer to another City or Place--- 

                     1. Transfer Voucher  Only 

                     2. Refund of the money for the Gas Regulator Which was given while taking the Connection 

                       (Do Not Use the Money  as it will be needed while applying the Same in the new Agency )          

Note - Transfer Voucher Looks Similar of the voucher you submitted 

 ---------------------Hurray By this you have done your Half Way --------------

Submitting the transfer Voucher to the New  Gas Agency :

     1. Go the nearest Agency at your New Place 

    

     2. Submit 

               --- for Transfer with in the City ---

                 1. Gas Connection Voucher

                 2. ID proof  ( Xerox and Original( for showing them)  )

                 3. Address Proof ( Xerox ) 

       Note - The Person On Who's Name the Gas is registered Should be Present **** ( Mandatory) 

              --- for Transfer to another City or Place--- 

                 1. Gas Connection Voucher

                 2. ID proof  ( Xerox and Original( for showing them)  )

                 3. Address Proof ( Xerox ) 

       Note - The Person On Who's Name the Gas is registered Should be Present **** ( Mandatory) 

    3. They will update And issue you the new 

                              1. Gas Book 

                              2. New Gas No 

                              3. Transfer Voucher 

                              4. Gas Regulator ( Only transfered to other City and After Paying the Deposit to it ) 

Mostly the Same Day you can collect the 2 cylinder or one cylinder  Depending on the Cylinder your are opted to

I received the Two Gas Cylinders in the same Day !!
